Refund Policy

Are donations refundable?

Donations are non-refundable. When you contribute, 50% of the amount is allocated to the Community Bucket - a shared storage pool that allows anyone to test file transfers without setting up their own cloud storage. The remainder supports hosting and development costs. If hosting and operational costs exceed the designated portion, I may apply Community Bucket funds to cover the shortfall and keep the service running. Because these funds are applied immediately upon receipt, I am unable to issue refunds.

Are there subscriptions or paid tiers?

Currently, The File Share Place does not offer subscriptions, recurring charges, or paid tiers. The only payments processed are voluntary donations via Stripe. If paid tiers or services are introduced in the future, this policy will be revised accordingly.
